Reggae Band Night at Apache Cafe

The friendly greeting staff at the entrance of the Apache Cafe assured me that a good time would be had by all. Small, cozy candle lit tables held smiling couples, while the middle of the dimly lit room was empty for standing room. In the back corners big comfy chairs held mellow people sipping on their drinks of choice. A small well lit stage held the first band which was playing souful, vocal-less reggae. Four bands graced the stage that night: Wade in the Rhythm,Jah Seeds,Royal Rat, and State of Unrest. My personal favorite was Wade in the Rhythm, but I am bias because that is who I went to the event to support. If you dig the soulful guitar riffs and the ska undertones that reggae music bring, or are just interested in a great show I would definatly recommend this event. Most shows at the Apache are 18 and over, due to the fact that there is smokng allowed inside and a full bar. Visit www.apachecafe.com for the date of the next reggae night!
