The Variety Playhouse- Very close tie between Badfish and Amanda Palmer.
The Tabernacle- The Cranberries.
The Red Light Cafe- Adam Lee (one of my best friends, check him out!)
Eddie's Attic- Open mic nights are most excellant.
40 Watt Club(Athens, GA)- Kimya Dawson.

Eddie's Attic is the best live music venue in the southeast, in my opinion. I LOVE that place. And open mic nights are definitely the best!
